The Warsaw Autosampler - a library of Warsaw sounds - is a project carried out by Krzysztof Cybulski as part of an artistic scholarship financed from the funds of the Capital City of Warsaw.
The main element of the project is the actual Autosampler - a sound recorder automatically capturing only harmonic sounds (with recognizable musical pitch). The recorder, powered by solar energy, had been placed in many distinctive spaces and public places of Warsaw. Seven sample libraries have been created from sounds recorded in over a dozen locations, which can be used by musicians and producers in their own music.
